Dr. Hack is a graduate of Brown University and the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Following the completion of a one-year general practice residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, Dr. Hack pursued his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Hack then joined Orthodontic Associates in October 1991. Dr. Hack resides in Old Lyme with his wife, Barbara, and three children.

Dr. Hack has taken a leadership role in organized dentistry at the local, state, and national levels. He has served as President of the Connecticut State Society of Orthodontists and as President of the New London County Dental Society. At the current time he serves as a Component Director of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Hack is committed to giving you the most modern and highest quality orthodontic care. Therefore, Dr. Hack attends continuing education conferences throughout the country on a regular basis. He also maintains a strong connection to the University of Connecticut Department of Orthodontics through its Alumni Association.

Dr. Hack is very thankful for all that he has received from the community, and thus, he strives to give back to the community whenever he can. He is a frequent participant in local fundraisers and community events, and he has served on a number of Boards of the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme.

He is presently a member of the MacCurdy-Salisbury Educational Foundation. Dr. Hack thoroughly enjoys the relationships that he forms with his patients and their parents. He hopes that his love for orthodontics and his patients shines through every day!

Rowing








In his leisure time, Dr. Hack enjoys many activities with his family, including outdoor activities such as sailing, golf and skiing. His three children keep him on his toes and give him a lot in common with the patients and parents of the practice. A former collegiate rower, Dr. Hack reconnected to the sport a few years ago and now rows competitively. He is also a member of the Board of the Old Lyme Rowing Association.
